What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee enters into a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, Beard Papas will designate a "Development Area." The agreement stipulates that all Beard Papas shops developed under the agreement must be located within this designated Development Area.

Once the franchisee selects a shop location within the Development Area and Beard Papas approves it, a "Designated Territory" will be defined within the Franchise Agreement for that specific shop. This Designated Territory will include geographic boundaries or a description specific to that shop's location.

Beard Papas's approval of future shop locations under the Multi-Unit Development Agreement will be based on their current site selection criteria at the time of review. This ensures that new locations align with Beard Papas's strategic objectives and market analysis.
