If Beard Papas establishes a System-Wide Training Program, where will the program be offered?

After the opening of your Shop, we reserve the right to require that you (or your Managing Owner if you are a Corporate Entity) attend a system-wide training program (the "System-Wide Training Program") that we may establish in our discretion. If we establish a System-Wide Training Program, the program will be offered from our affiliate owned Shop in Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, California, or New York, New York and you will be responsible for all travel and expenses, lodging, food, automobile rental expenses, and employee wages that you incur in connection with your attendance. We will not require your attendance at a System-Wide Training Program for more than a total of five days in any calendar year.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Beard Papas establishes a System-Wide Training Program, it will be offered from their affiliate-owned shops located in Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, California, or New York, New York.
As a franchisee, you (or your Managing Owner if you are a Corporate Entity) may be required to attend this System-Wide Training Program, if established by Beard Papas. Franchisees are responsible for covering all associated costs, including travel, lodging, food, car rental, and employee wages incurred while attending the training.
The FDD specifies that attendance at the System-Wide Training Program will not exceed a total of five days in any calendar year. This allows franchisees to plan and budget for the time and expenses associated with the training, should it be required by Beard Papas.
