What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Operations Manual designates the System Supplies and designated vendors that must be exclusively used by the franchisee. The Operations Manual contains the policies, procedures, and requirements for developing and operating a Beard Papa's shop.
This means a Beard Papas franchisee is required to purchase System Supplies from specific, approved vendors designated by Beard Papas. These vendors and required supplies will be outlined in the Operations Manual, which Beard Papas can modify over time.
This requirement ensures brand consistency and quality control across all Beard Papa's locations. However, it also limits the franchisee's ability to negotiate prices or source supplies from alternative vendors, potentially impacting their operating costs and profit margins. Franchisees must adhere to these designated suppliers to maintain compliance with the franchise agreement.
