What am I required to do with website and digital media accounts related to my Beard Papas franchise?

Digital Media and Website All digital media and marketing must be approved by us.
We will designate for your Designated Territory information about your Shop on the www.beardpapas.com webpage or such other websites as we may designate for the System. (Franchise Agreement, Article 9);
Brand Development Fund We may control and administer a brand development fund (the "Brand Development Fund") (Franchise Agreement, Article 9.A.).
As disclosed in Item 6 of this Disclosure Document, you must contribute a monthly sum not to exceed 2% of monthly Gross Sales to the Brand Development Fund.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beard Papas's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all digital media and marketing used by franchisees must be approved by Beard Papas. The franchisor will designate information about the franchisee's shop on the www.beardpapas.com webpage or other websites designated for the system.
Specifically, franchisees may not use any websites, web-based media, or digital media unless expressly approved in writing by Beard Papas. The franchisor maintains strict control over how franchisees use websites and digital media.
Most importantly, franchisees are required to assign all website media and digital media accounts to Beard Papas. This means that any social media accounts or websites created for the franchise must be transferred to the ownership and control of the franchisor.
