Bb_Q_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

7.4.2 If you desire to purchase, lease or use any products or other items from an unapproved supplier, you shall submit to us a written request for such approval, or shall request the supplier itself to do so. We reserve the right to require you or the supplier to reimburse our costs related to evaluation and testing. You shall not purchase or lease from any supplier until and unless such supplier has been approved in writing by us. We shall have the right to require that our representatives be permitted to inspect the proposed supplier's facilities, and that samples from the supplier be delivered, either to us or to an independent laboratory designated by us, for testing. We reserve the right, at our option, to re-inspect from time to time the facilities and products of any such approved supplier and to revoke our approval upon the

supplier's failure to continue to meet any of our then-current criteria. Nothing herein shall be construed to require us to approve any particular supplier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken reserves the right to re-inspect the facilities and products of any approved supplier. If a supplier fails to continue meeting Bb.Q Chicken's then-current criteria, Bb.Q Chicken has the right to revoke its approval.

This means that even after a supplier is initially approved for use within the Bb.Q Chicken franchise system, that approval is not permanent. Bb.Q Chicken maintains ongoing oversight to ensure suppliers continue to meet the required standards. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors need to ensure consistent quality and safety across all locations.

For a prospective Bb.Q Chicken franchisee, this highlights the importance of using only approved suppliers. While franchisees can request approval for new suppliers, Bb.Q Chicken retains the power to revoke approvals if standards are not maintained. This protects the brand's reputation and ensures product consistency, but it also means franchisees must stay informed about approved supplier lists and any changes to them.
