- Training programs and seminars and other related activities regarding the operation of the Franchised Business as we may conduct for you or personnel generally, which may be mandatory for your Operating Principal, General Manager and other personnel. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.5.)

Grand Opening Marketing: You must conduct a marketing campaign announcing the grand opening of your Franchised Business, and you must spend at least $10,000 for this campaign. Your grand opening marketing campaign must be conducted in the initial 60 days of operation. We may designate a different time period for you to conduct the grand opening marketing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, training programs and seminars can be mandatory for the Operating Principal. Specifically, Bb.Q Chicken or its area representative may conduct training programs and seminars regarding the operation of the franchised business, which may be mandatory for the Operating Principal, General Manager, and other personnel.
Bb.Q Chicken may also choose to hold an annual meeting of franchisees to provide additional training, introduce new products or changes to the System, or for other reasons. Bb.Q Chicken may designate that attendance at an annual meeting is mandatory for the Operating Principal, General Manager and/or other personnel. The franchisee will be responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their attendees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages.
Bb.Q Chicken may also choose to hold refresher training courses, and they may designate that attendance at refresher training is mandatory for the Operating Principal, General Manager and/or other personnel. The franchisee will be responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their trainees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Any refresher or additional training will not last longer than five days in any calendar year.
