What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, their supplier approval procedure does not obligate them to approve any specific supplier. If a franchisee wishes to purchase from a supplier that is not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval, or request the supplier to do so. Bb.Q Chicken can require inspection of the supplier's facilities and testing of samples, with the franchisee reimbursing travel charges and costs, up to $1,500.

Bb.Q Chicken retains the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and revoke approval if they no longer meet the brand's standards. Franchisees will be notified in writing of approval or disapproval within 30 days of completing the evaluation process. However, Bb.Q Chicken does not have to share their criteria for product or supplier approval with franchisees or suppliers.

Bb.Q Chicken is not obligated to approve any product or supplier if they believe it is not in the best interest of the Bb.Q Chicken system. They can also revoke prior approval of any product or supplier at any time, and franchisees must stop using the product or purchasing from the supplier upon written notice. This gives Bb.Q Chicken significant control over the supply chain and ensures standardization, but it also means franchisees have limited flexibility in sourcing products and services.
