What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken has the sole right to control all aspects of the website. This includes the website's design, content, functionality, links to third-party websites, legal notices, policies, and terms of usage. Bb.Q Chicken also reserves the right to discontinue the website's operation.
This means that as a franchisee, you will not have control over the content or design of the main Bb.Q Chicken website. However, Bb.Q Chicken has the right, but not the obligation, to designate one or more web pages to describe your specific franchise location. You must comply with Bb.Q Chicken's policies regarding the creation, maintenance, and content of these pages, and Bb.Q Chicken can refuse to post or discontinue any content or web page operation.
Furthermore, you cannot establish a separate website related to the Bb.Q Chicken brand or system without prior written approval from Bb.Q Chicken, which they are not obligated to provide. If you are approved to create a website, you must adhere to Bb.Q Chicken's policies, standards, and specifications. Any website you own or maintain will be considered "marketing" and is subject to Bb.Q Chicken's approval.
Bb.Q Chicken also has the right to modify the website provisions as they deem necessary or appropriate. Additionally, you cannot promote your franchise or use any Bb.Q Chicken marks on social media or networking websites without prior written consent from Bb.Q Chicken. This indicates that Bb.Q Chicken maintains tight control over its brand's online presence and marketing efforts, requiring franchisees to adhere to their standards and obtain approval for any online activities related to the brand.
