What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bb.Q Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, the General Manager of a Bb.Q Chicken franchise is required to devote their full time and best efforts to the supervision and management of the franchised business. This means the General Manager cannot have other conflicting employment or business ventures that would detract from their ability to manage the Bb.Q Chicken outlet effectively.
This full-time commitment ensures that the General Manager is always available to address any issues that may arise, manage staff, and maintain the quality and standards of the Bb.Q Chicken brand. It also allows them to fully implement the franchisor's system and procedures, which is crucial for the success of the franchise.
Furthermore, the General Manager must meet Bb.Q Chicken's educational and business experience criteria as outlined in the manuals or in writing. If the General Manager is unable to continue in their role or no longer qualifies, the franchisee must notify Bb.Q Chicken and designate a replacement within 60 days, ensuring continuous full-time management. Failure to comply with these requirements constitutes a material default under the franchise agreement.
