What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bb.Q Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken will provide franchisees with access to branded social media pages, handles, and assets. The franchisee is then required to update these social media resources regularly. This indicates that Bb.Q Chicken takes an active role in managing and providing social media resources for its franchisees.
This requirement ensures that franchisees have the necessary tools and resources to maintain a consistent brand image and marketing presence on social media platforms. By providing access to branded social media assets, Bb.Q Chicken aims to streamline the franchisee's marketing efforts and ensure compliance with brand standards. This can be particularly beneficial for franchisees who may lack experience or resources in social media marketing.
Furthermore, Bb.Q Chicken reserves the right to conduct collective or national campaigns via local social media on behalf of the franchisee. This allows Bb.Q Chicken to leverage the local social media presence of individual franchises to promote broader marketing initiatives and campaigns. This coordinated approach can enhance the overall effectiveness of marketing efforts and ensure consistent messaging across the franchise system.
In addition to providing access to branded social media, Bb.Q Chicken also requires franchisees to comply with system standards regarding social media use. This includes prohibitions on franchisees and their employees posting or blogging comments about the franchised business or the system, except on websites established or authorized by Bb.Q Chicken. Franchisees must also provide Bb.Q Chicken with all passwords and administrative rights to any social media accounts for the franchised business, granting Bb.Q Chicken the authority to take necessary actions if the franchisee fails to maintain the accounts in accordance with Bb.Q Chicken's standards.
