What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bb.Q Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at refresher training courses may be mandatory for the franchisee, their Operating Principal, General Manager, and/or other personnel. Bb.Q Chicken does not anticipate charging a fee for refresher training itself. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their trainees. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Bb.Q Chicken anticipates that any refresher or additional training will not last longer than five days in any calendar year.

This means that if Bb.Q Chicken deems it necessary, franchisees may be required to send themselves or their staff to refresher training. This could represent a significant cost, especially considering travel, accommodation, and wage expenses. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when assessing the overall financial investment required to operate a Bb.Q Chicken franchise.

Many franchise systems include ongoing training to ensure consistent quality and service standards across all locations. The fact that Bb.Q Chicken may mandate refresher training is not unusual. However, franchisees should inquire about the frequency and location of these refresher courses during their due diligence. Understanding the potential costs and time commitment associated with mandatory training is crucial for effective business planning and budgeting.
