What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to offer dine-in services. However, offering carry-out, catering, or delivery services is at the franchisee's option and requires express written authorization from Bb.Q Chicken. This authorization must be in the Manuals or otherwise provided in writing.
This means that while Bb.Q Chicken franchisees must provide dine-in options, they are not obligated to offer carry-out, catering, or delivery unless Bb.Q Chicken specifically authorizes it. A prospective franchisee should discuss with Bb.Q Chicken whether these additional service options are typically approved for new locations and what criteria are used for granting such authorization.
The requirement for written authorization gives Bb.Q Chicken control over how its franchisees offer services, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations. It also allows Bb.Q Chicken to adapt its service models based on market trends or specific location characteristics. For a franchisee, this means they need to be prepared to operate primarily as a dine-in restaurant unless they receive specific approval to expand their service offerings.
