What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand development fund is established and administered by Bb.Q Chicken on behalf of the System. The purpose of this fund is to provide national or regional creative materials that will benefit the entire Bb.Q Chicken System.
This means that a portion of the fees paid by franchisees is pooled into a fund that Bb.Q Chicken uses to create marketing and advertising materials. These materials are designed to promote the Bb.Q Chicken brand on a larger scale, reaching a wider audience than individual franchisees could typically achieve on their own. The fund is intended to support the overall growth and recognition of the Bb.Q Chicken brand, which in turn should benefit all franchisees by driving more customers to their locations.
Item 11 of the FDD provides further details regarding the brand development fund. Additionally, if a Bb.Q Chicken franchisee fails to report revenues for any reporting period, Bb.Q Chicken will collect 120% of the last Brand Development Fee collected and settle the balance the next period in which revenue is reported.
