Continuing Obligations

Franchise Agreement: During the operation of a Franchised Business, we or our area representative, if there is one for your area, will provide the following assistance and services:

    1. Marketing and promotional materials for in-store marketing and local marketing for the Franchised Business at a reasonable cost to you. (Franchise Agreement, Section 5.6.)

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken or its area representative may conduct training programs and seminars regarding the operation of the franchised business. These programs and seminars may be mandatory for the Operating Principal, General Manager, and other personnel.

Bb.Q Chicken also offers initial training programs that must be completed no later than 30 days before the Franchised Business begins operation. This initial training program lasts for five days (four nights) and is held at the corporate headquarters, one of the Restaurants near Fort Lee, New Jersey, or another designated location. The franchisee, Operating Principal, or General Manager must complete this initial training program to Bb.Q Chicken's satisfaction.

Bb.Q Chicken may also choose to hold an annual meeting of its franchisees to provide additional training, introduce new products or changes to the System, or for other reasons. Attendance at this annual meeting or refresher training courses may be mandatory for the franchisee, Operating Principal, General Manager, and/or other personnel. While Bb.Q Chicken does not anticipate charging a fee to attend the meeting or refresher training, the franchisee will be responsible for all expenses incurred by their attendees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages.
