Bb_Q_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must obtain all food and beverage items, ingredients, supplies, materials, fixtures, furnishings, equipment (including point-of-sale system and communication systems), and other products used or offered for sale at the Franchised Business solely from suppliers who demonstrate, to our continuing reasonable satisfaction, the ability to meet our then-current standards or in accordance with our standards and specifications.
A complete list of our approved products and suppliers will be included in the Manual and is subject to change over time. We will provide you notice in the Manual or otherwise in writing (such as via email) of any changes to the lists of approved products and approved suppliers. We have the right to designate ourselves as approved suppliers in the future. If we are an approved supplier, we have the right to earn a profit on the sale of items to our franchisees. None of our officers has an ownership interest in any approved supplier. If it is discovered that you are not using designated or approved suppliers for your purchases of products used in the operation of your Franchised Business, or if you are not using designated or approved products, we will have the right to terminate your Franchise Agreement upon notice to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must source all food, beverage items, ingredients, supplies, materials, fixtures, furnishings, equipment, and other products used or offered for sale solely from suppliers who meet Bb.Q Chicken's standards and specifications. These standards are assessed to the franchisor's satisfaction. A complete list of approved products and suppliers is included in the manual and is subject to change, with written notice of any changes provided to the franchisee. Bb.Q Chicken retains the right to designate itself as an approved supplier and profit from these sales to franchisees. Failure to use designated or approved suppliers or products can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
Specifically, franchisees must purchase the required beverage machine from a designated supplier. For poultry, franchisees must purchase from Sysco Corporation or Gordon Food Service. All required equipment must be purchased from Bb.Q Chicken, who in turn purchases it on the franchisee's behalf from designated suppliers such as Map Restaurant Supply or Action Sales. These restrictions are in place to ensure that the highest degree of quality and service is maintained, and franchisees must operate in strict conformity with the methods, standards, and specifications prescribed by Bb.Q Chicken.
Bb.Q Chicken estimates that purchases from approved suppliers or those conforming to their specifications will constitute approximately 80% to 90% of the franchisee's total purchases, both during the establishment phase and in the continuing operation of the franchise. Bb.Q Chicken may establish strategic alliances or preferred vendor programs with suppliers, potentially limiting the number of approved suppliers. They may also receive compensation from approved suppliers in the form of rebates or commissions. For the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, Bb.Q Chicken earned $6,196,375.38, or 1.56% of their total revenue, from approved suppliers based on their sales of poultry products to franchisees, $96,714.61 of which was earned from the sales of poultry from their designated supplier, Shamrock Foods.
Franchisees are also required to use only Bb.Q Chicken's proprietary recipes and products, purchasing these items solely from Bb.Q Chicken or a source designated by them. Currently, Bb.Q Chicken is not an approved supplier of any products or services to its franchisees. These stringent sourcing requirements are designed to maintain uniformity and quality across the Bb.Q Chicken system, but franchisees should be aware of the limited flexibility and potential costs associated with these restrictions.
