Does Bb.Q Chicken guarantee the continuation of any special incentive programs offered to prospective franchisees?

Bb_Q_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

From time to time we may offer special incentive programs as part of our franchise development activities. We currently offer an incentive program where we will discount the initial franchise fee by 30% for veterans and active-duty military personnel for the first Franchised Business purchased. We have the right to offer, modify or withdraw any incentive program without notice to you. The initial franchise fee is imposed uniformly on all franchisees and is not refundable under any circumstances.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken does not guarantee the continuation of any special incentive programs. The FDD states that Bb.Q Chicken may offer special incentive programs as part of its franchise development activities from time to time. Currently, Bb.Q Chicken offers a 30% discount on the initial franchise fee for veterans and active-duty military personnel for their first franchise.

However, Bb.Q Chicken explicitly retains the right to modify or withdraw any incentive program without prior notice. This means that while an incentive may be available at the time a prospective franchisee is considering the opportunity, it could be altered or discontinued before the franchise agreement is signed or at any point thereafter.

This lack of guarantee is a standard practice in franchising, as franchisors need the flexibility to adjust their incentives based on market conditions, business needs, and strategic priorities. Prospective franchisees should not rely solely on the availability of an incentive program when making their investment decision, as these programs are subject to change at the discretion of Bb.Q Chicken.
