What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to take immediate action to correct any deficiencies detected during inspections. Specifically, upon receiving notice from Bb.Q Chicken or its agents, franchisees must take the necessary steps to rectify these issues. Franchisees also grant Bb.Q Chicken and its agents the right to enter the Franchised Business during normal business hours to conduct inspections and quality assurance checks and must cooperate with these representatives.
Following a quality assurance inspection, Bb.Q Chicken will provide written notice of any violations found. The franchisee is then obligated to pay a fee for each violation, with the amount being the then-current fee per violation. The franchisee has ten days to correct the deficiencies. If the franchisee fails to remediate the issues within this period, Bb.Q Chicken will issue a second quality assurance violation notice.
Failure to correct deficiencies within a reasonable time, as determined by Bb.Q Chicken, after the second notice can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. This underscores the importance of addressing any identified issues promptly and effectively to maintain compliance with Bb.Q Chicken's standards and avoid potential penalties or termination of the franchise agreement.
This requirement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to ensure brand consistency and quality across all locations. Franchisees should be prepared to act quickly and decisively to resolve any issues identified during inspections to maintain a good standing with Bb.Q Chicken.
