What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bb.Q Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to adhere to specific standards and specifications set by Bb.Q Chicken, particularly regarding equipment and technology. Franchisees must install and maintain equipment and telecommunications lines that meet Bb.Q Chicken's standards, allowing the company to access and monitor data from the point-of-sale system. Failing to maintain this equipment and communication methods can be considered a material default of the franchise agreement.

Bb.Q Chicken franchisees must also obtain written approval before honoring any previously unapproved credit, charge, courtesy, or cash cards. This requirement ensures that all financial transactions align with the franchisor's standards and policies. Additionally, franchisees are obligated to use only the standard form of gift cards provided or designated by Bb.Q Chicken and must honor these gift cards, regardless of which franchise location issued them. This promotes uniformity and consistency across all Bb.Q Chicken locations.

Furthermore, Bb.Q Chicken provides franchisees with standard specifications for the interior and exterior design, including improvements, equipment, furnishings, décor, and signs. Franchisees must also submit their site plan and final build-out plans for approval to ensure they conform to Bb.Q Chicken's construction standards. These measures allow Bb.Q Chicken to maintain uniformity and quality control across all franchise locations, protecting the brand's image and customer experience. Therefore, franchisees cannot install unapproved items in their franchised business.
