How should a Bb.Q Chicken franchisee handle the redemption of gift cards?

You shall fully honor all Gift Cards that are in the form provided or approved by us regardless of whether a Gift Card was issued by you or another bb.q Chicken Franchised Business.
You shall sell, issue, and redeem (without any offset against any Royalty Fees) Gift Cards in accordance with procedures and policies specified by us in the Manuals or otherwise in writing, including those relating to procedures by which you shall request reimbursement for Gift Cards issued by other bb.q Chicken Franchised Businesses and for making timely payment to us, other operators of bb.q Chicken Franchised Businesses, or a third-party service provider for Gift Cards issued from the Franchised Business that are honored by us or other bb.q Chicken Franchised Business operators.

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must honor all gift cards that adhere to the form provided or approved by Bb.Q Chicken, regardless of which Bb.Q Chicken franchise issued the gift card.
Bb.Q Chicken franchisees are required to sell, issue, and redeem gift cards according to the procedures and policies outlined in the Bb.Q Chicken manuals or other written communications from the franchisor. These procedures also include how a franchisee can request reimbursement for gift cards that were issued by other Bb.Q Chicken franchises.
Franchisees are also responsible for making timely payments to Bb.Q Chicken, other Bb.Q Chicken operators, or any third-party service provider for gift cards that were originally issued from their franchise but are honored by Bb.Q Chicken itself or other Bb.Q Chicken franchisees.
