What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the General Manager must meet specific educational and business experience criteria. These criteria are detailed in the Bb.Q Chicken manuals or other written instructions provided by the franchisor. Additionally, the General Manager must be acceptable to Bb.Q Chicken and fulfill the training requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement. The General Manager is expected to dedicate their full time and best efforts to supervising and managing the Bb.Q Chicken franchise.
If the General Manager is unable to continue in their role or no longer meets the requirements, the franchisee must notify Bb.Q Chicken promptly and designate a qualified replacement within 60 days. The replacement must meet the same qualifications, including completing all required training and obtaining necessary certifications. During the transition, the franchisee must ensure interim management is in place to maintain operations according to the Franchise Agreement.
Failure to comply with these requirements regarding the General Manager can be considered a material breach of the Franchise Agreement. This means that maintaining a qualified and approved General Manager is crucial for remaining in good standing with the Bb.Q Chicken franchise system. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Bb.Q Chicken manuals and Franchise Agreement to fully understand the specific educational, business experience, and training requirements for the General Manager position.
