    1. We direct all advertising programs and have sole discretion to approve the creative concepts, materials and media used in the programs and their placement and allocation. Marketing and promotional materials may be developed in-house by us or we may employ one or more advertising agencies to develop these materials. The Fund is intended to maximize general public recognition and acceptance of the Marks and improve the collective success of all Franchised Businesses operating under the System. We may use monies from the Fund to support our website and to conduct social media initiatives. Any Franchised Businesses operated by us will contribute to the Fund on the same basis as you. In administering the Fund, we and our designees are not required to make expenditures for you that are equivalent or proportionate to your contribution or make sure that any particular franchisee benefits directly or pro rata from the placement of advertising. We are not obligated to spend any amount on advertising in your area or territory separate from the Fund.

According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken has the option to develop marketing and promotional materials in-house or employ one or more advertising agencies to do so. The marketing and promotional materials are intended to maximize general public recognition and acceptance of the Bb.Q Chicken marks and improve the collective success of all franchised businesses operating under the Bb.Q Chicken system. Bb.Q Chicken may use monies from the Brand Development Fund to support its website and to conduct social media initiatives.

Bb.Q Chicken franchisees are required to contribute 2% of their gross sales to the Brand Development Fund, which is used for advertising the Bb.Q Chicken system and products on a regional or national level. During the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, the Brand Development Fund allocated its expenditures as follows: 10% on production, 63% on media placement, 17% on customer retention programs, 7% on out-of-home (OOH) placement, and 3% on brand activation. Franchisees are also required to conduct a grand opening marketing campaign, spending at least $10,000 within the initial 60 days of operation.

While franchisees are encouraged to engage in local marketing, all marketing materials must be approved by Bb.Q Chicken. Franchisees must not advertise or use Bb.Q Chicken's marks on the internet or social media without express written consent. Any marketing materials not prepared or approved by Bb.Q Chicken within the preceding 12 months must be submitted for review at least 10 days before use. Bb.Q Chicken also has the right to mandate specific language in local marketing, such as "Franchises Available" and the company's website address and phone number. These stipulations ensure that all marketing efforts align with the brand's standards and strategy.

Bb.Q Chicken also controls all social media initiatives and will provide access to branded social media pages/handles/assets, which franchisees must update regularly. Bb.Q Chicken retains the right to conduct collective/national campaigns via local social media on the franchisee's behalf. Franchisees are strictly prohibited from promoting their franchised business or using the marks on any social media or networking websites without prior written consent. Franchisees must comply with Bb.Q Chicken's system standards regarding social media use, including prohibitions on posting comments about the franchised business or the system, except on websites established or authorized by Bb.Q Chicken.
