What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bb.Q Chicken does not currently charge a fee for remedial training. However, Bb.Q Chicken reserves the right to charge a fee for this training in the future. If Bb.Q Chicken deems it appropriate due to the result of an inspection or quality assurance audit, the franchisee and their personnel must attend such training as Bb.Q Chicken may reasonably require at its headquarters and/or an affiliate-owned or franchised outlet.
Regardless of whether Bb.Q Chicken charges a fee for the remedial training itself, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses for themselves and their trainees. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and wages. This means that even if the training is free, the franchisee will still incur significant costs to attend.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often provide initial training but may require franchisees to cover the costs of travel and accommodation for any additional or remedial training. Prospective Bb.Q Chicken franchisees should factor in these potential costs when assessing the overall investment required to operate a franchise.
