What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bb.Q Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses associated with remedial training. If Bb.Q Chicken deems it necessary due to an inspection or quality assurance audit, the franchisee and their personnel must attend required training at Bb.Q Chicken's headquarters or an affiliated location.
This means that as a Bb.Q Chicken franchisee, you will have to cover the costs of travel, lodging, and any wages for yourself and your staff while undergoing remedial training. This is a potentially significant expense that franchisees should factor into their operating budget, as the need for remedial training is often unplanned and could arise from failing an inspection.
Franchisors commonly require franchisees to bear the costs of ongoing training and remedial programs, as it is seen as the franchisee's responsibility to maintain brand standards and operational compliance. The FDD also states that Bb.Q Chicken reserves the right to designate an alternate location for any component of the Remedial Training.
