What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Bb.Q Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document does not explicitly state the total amount of travel expenses incurred by the franchisor in 2024. However, it does outline several situations where travel expenses are relevant to franchisees.
For instance, franchisees are responsible for covering the travel, lodging, meals, and wages of their trainees during the initial training program. Similarly, if Bb.Q Chicken holds franchisee meetings, franchisees must pay for the travel, lodging, meals, and wages of their attendees. Additionally, in the event of the franchisee's death or permanent disability, if Bb.Q Chicken provides interim management for the outlet, the franchisee or their representative is responsible for covering all costs of travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses reasonably incurred by Bb.Q Chicken.
Therefore, while the FDD does not provide a specific figure for the franchisor's travel expenses in 2024, it highlights the franchisee's responsibility for certain travel-related costs. A prospective franchisee should inquire directly with Bb.Q Chicken about the typical range of these travel expenses to better understand the potential financial obligations.
