What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a PIP (Property Improvement Plan) will be created if you are converting an existing hotel into a Baymont Inn Suites Chain Facility or in the case of a transfer of an existing Baymont Inn Suites.
Baymont Inn Suites will inspect the facility and create a PIP of improvements needed before you open the Facility under their service marks and afterwards. This plan outlines the necessary upgrades and changes required to meet the brand's standards.
The PIP is attached to the Franchise Agreement when it is signed, so the franchisee will know the required improvements before finalizing the agreement. This allows the franchisee to understand the financial commitment involved in bringing the facility up to Baymont Inn Suites standards.
