THIS SAFE-T SUITE SERVICES ADDENDUM, INCLUDING THE SAFE-T SUITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND EXHIBITS INCORPORATED HEREIN, IS THE COMPLETE AND ENTIRE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PARTIES REGARDING THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF AND SUPERSEDES ALL PRIOR WRITTEN OR ORAL AGREEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS AND UNDERSTANDINGS WITH RESPECT THERETO, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY PURCHASE ORDER OR PROPOSAL.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Baymont Inn Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, the SAFE-T Suite Services include Tokenization Services and Encryption Services. If a franchisee chooses to receive Encryption Services and Simplify Software and Support, they will receive Encryption Terminal Software licensed from Elavon, and Simplify License and Support. Exhibit C applies to the Encryption Terminal Software and Exhibit F applies to the Simplify License and Support.
Additionally, franchisees can elect to either lease or purchase terminals. If leasing, Exhibit D applies, and the bundle includes the Premium Advanced Exchange Program and Premium Repair Warranty Program. If purchasing, Exhibit E applies, and the franchisee can optionally add the Premium Advanced Exchange Program and Premium Repair Warranty Program. The terminal options are the Ingenico iPP320 EMV Terminal or the Ingenico ISC250 EMV Terminal, both of which include Simplify License and Support, Voltage Encryption, Cabling, Power Supply, and Commbox, and Deployment.
The franchisee is required to select a minimum of 2 terminals. The Hosted Gateway Services, provided by Elavon, support Payment Device authorization data and facilitate the transmission of authorization and settlement information related to Transactions to and from various Origination Points, such as property management systems or point of sale systems. These services submit transactions received from an Origination Point to the Destination Point designated by the customer for authorization and return the authorization response message to the Origination Point. The Hosted Gateway Services also include a browser-based user interface for batch management, settlement balancing, and transaction reporting.
