What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, remedial training may be offered through a web-based platform, in person, at Baymont Inn Suites' corporate offices, at a regional location, or at the franchisee's facility. Baymont Inn Suites may require franchisees, their general managers, and/or staff to participate in remedial training if the facility does not meet required quality assurance standards or if there are significant customer complaints. These complaints could come through Baymont Inn Suites' customer care department or be posted on third-party travel websites, distribution channels, blogs, social networks, and other forums.
The training may consist of one or more classes held at different times and locations as required by Baymont Inn Suites. The franchisee is responsible for paying the fee in effect for the remedial training program. If the training is conducted at the franchisee's facility, the franchisee must provide lodging for Baymont Inn Suites' trainers.
This remedial training is separate from the ongoing training and support provided through Wyndham University, which requires a separate annual subscription fee. Franchisees should be prepared to cover the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and compensation for their personnel attending any in-person training components.
