What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Baymont Inn Suites will provide a computerized Central Reservation System (CRS) for making reservations at Chain Facilities. This CRS may be provided directly, indirectly through another party, or via a technological substitute as determined by Baymont Inn Suites. Franchisees are required to participate in the CRS on an exclusive basis during the term of the agreement, which includes adhering to all technology agreements and terms set by Baymont Inn Suites. Franchisees are prohibited from using any other electronic reservation system or booking engine.
Baymont Inn Suites also has the right to independently access, collect, and use a franchisee's electronic information and data without providing any compensation. Franchisees are required to select and procure a Property Management System (PMS) that can interface with the CRS. The PMS handles reservations, check-ins, check-outs, rate and inventory management, and transmits guest reservation data. Baymont Inn Suites offers consultation to help franchisees choose an appropriate PMS product.
Baymont Inn Suites has two approved PMS systems: Oracle's OPERA PMS and Sabre Hospitality Solution's cloud-based SynXis Property Hub PMS. The OPERA PMS has a one-time Set-Up and Implementation Fee ranging from $11,000 to $22,100, depending on the level selected. The SynXis Property Hub PMS has a one-time $4,500 Set-Up and Implementation Fee. The Set-Up and Implementation Fee for either PMS includes the installation of Standard Interfaces to the CRS, the mobile guest check-in/check-out platform, fundamental hotel systems, and the tokenized credit card interface. Franchisees also pay a Monthly Support and Service Fee that ranges from $734 to $1,050 per month for SynXis Property Hub, OPERA Cloud Foundation, and OPERA Cloud Standard, depending on the number of rooms. The Monthly Support and Service Fee for OPERA Cloud Premium is $13.25 per room per month.
