What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are different tiers of service available to franchisees. The Premium Service fee is calculated as 1.00% of Gross Revenue/Gross Room Revenue (GR/GRR) with a minimum of $1,450 per month. However, for facilities with an annual GR/GRR of $3,000,000 or more, the monthly fee is $3,500. There is also a Premium Plus Service available for a flat rate of $5,245 per month.
For a prospective Baymont Inn Suites franchisee, this means that the monthly Premium Service fee will vary depending on the revenue of their specific location. If the 1.00% calculation of GR/GRR results in less than $1,450, the franchisee will still need to pay the minimum of $1,450. If the location's annual revenue exceeds $3,000,000, the franchisee will pay a flat rate of $3,500 per month for Premium Service. The Premium Plus Service is a flat monthly rate, regardless of revenue.
It's important to note that Baymont Inn Suites also offers a Standard Service option, which is calculated at 0.75% of GR/GRR per month, with a minimum of $645 and a maximum of $1,395 per month. However, facilities achieving greater than 70% occupancy for 12 consecutive months must participate in Premium Service rather than Standard Service. This means that a franchisee's service level, and therefore their monthly fee, can change based on the performance of their location.
