What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Baymont Inn Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, all notices and other communications related to the franchise agreement must be in writing. Acceptable delivery methods include registered or certified air mail with postage prepaid, or express courier service with the service fee prepaid.
If hand-delivered, notices are considered received immediately upon delivery. If delivered by mail, notices are deemed received five business days after being deposited in the mail. For notices delivered via express courier service, they are considered received the next business day after delivery to the courier.
Baymont Inn Suites requires that all formal communications adhere to these specific methods to ensure a verifiable record of delivery and receipt. Franchisees should be aware of these requirements to ensure they comply with the agreement and that their communications are officially recognized. This level of specificity is typical in franchise agreements to avoid ambiguity and disputes regarding notice.
