What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Baymont Inn Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial term for the Oracle Products and/or Services Attachment 1.1 Schedule is three years. After this initial period, the Schedule automatically renews for successive one-year periods, unless either party provides written notice of their desire not to renew at least 30 days in advance.
This means that a Baymont Inn Suites franchisee is committed to this Schedule for three years unless they terminate it earlier according to the agreement's terms. The automatic renewal clause ensures the Schedule remains in effect unless a party actively cancels it, providing a degree of continuity.
However, the franchisee should be aware of the conditions under which they can terminate the Schedule. While the excerpt does not detail the specific conditions for early termination, it does state that termination must be 'in accordance with the Agreement'. It is important to carefully review the entire Schedule and related agreements to understand all termination clauses and potential costs associated with early termination.
In contrast, the Mobile Operating Platform Attachment 1.1 Schedule lasts until the termination of the Franchise or Membership Agreement. The RevIQ Products and/or Services Supplement lasts for an initial term of one year and automatically renews for successive one-year periods unless either party provides written notice of its desire not to renew at least 30 days in advance.
