Certain personnel employed at the Facility may be required to attend periodic meetings held to address matters of general interest to the System. We will establish the locations where these programs are offered. If you participate in any of these programs, you must pay any tuition we establish for the program as well as the travel, lodging and meal expenses and wages for your personnel attending it.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, certain personnel employed at a franchisee's facility may be required to attend periodic regional meetings. These meetings address matters of general interest to the Baymont Inn Suites system. The franchisor, Wyndham Hotel Group, establishes the locations for these programs.
If attendance at these regional meetings is required, the franchisee is responsible for covering several costs. These costs include any tuition fees established for the program, as well as the travel, lodging, meal expenses, and wages for the personnel attending the meetings. This can create a significant expense for franchisees, especially if multiple personnel are required to attend and travel is involved.
Furthermore, the FDD outlines a no-show and cancellation policy related to training programs. If a franchisee, their general manager, or any designated staff member fails to register for a required training program within the specified time, or fails to attend without advance notice, Baymont Inn Suites may charge a no-show fee of up to 100% of the tuition. Canceling participation less than 14 days before the program may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the tuition. These fees are in addition to the standard tuition costs and can be assessed for continued failures to attend or properly cancel participation.
