What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Baymont Inn Suites FDD, specific details regarding the requirements for guest suites are not explicitly outlined in the provided excerpts. However, the FDD does mention System Standards that would apply to the facility.
The FDD excerpts discuss the franchisee's obligation to operate and maintain the facility according to System Standards, keeping it clean and in good repair. It also mentions the need to renovate and redecorate as needed to comply with these standards. While the excerpts do not specify guest suite requirements, they do state that any breach of System Standards for the facility and its guest amenities constitutes a material breach of the Franchise Agreement.
To fully understand the requirements for guest suites, a prospective Baymont Inn Suites franchisee should consult the System Standards Manual, which is referenced throughout the excerpts. They should also ask the franchisor for detailed information on what the System Standards entail for guest suites, including specific requirements for FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), amenities, and maintenance. Additionally, franchisees should inquire about the quality assurance inspection program and how guest suites are evaluated during these inspections.
