What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Baymont Inn Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Baymont Inn Suites may require access to the property, including guest rooms, during an audit of the Facility's books and records. Baymont Inn Suites can also perform an audit of the Facility's books and records remotely or electronically without advance notice or the franchisee's knowledge.
This means that as a Baymont Inn Suites franchisee, you must allow Baymont Inn Suites auditors access to all areas of the property, including guest rooms, for auditing purposes. This access can occur with or without prior notice. The franchisee's staff is also required to cooperate with and assist the auditors in performing their audit.
This requirement ensures that Baymont Inn Suites can verify the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with system standards. Franchisees should maintain accurate and readily accessible records to facilitate audits and ensure smooth operations. The ability to conduct remote audits provides Baymont Inn Suites with flexibility and potentially more frequent monitoring capabilities, which franchisees should be prepared for.
