What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can request a physical copy of the manual if they lose, misplace, or otherwise request it. However, Baya Bar has the discretion to provide the physical copy. If Baya Bar grants the request, the franchisee must pay the then-current replacement fee. As of the date of the Franchise Agreement, the replacement fee is $100.00.
This policy means that while Baya Bar typically provides access to the manual, possibly in digital format as mentioned in section 10.3, franchisees aren't automatically entitled to a physical copy. If a franchisee needs a physical copy due to loss or other reasons, they must request it and be prepared to pay a fee if Baya Bar approves the request. This fee covers the cost of replacing the manual.
It is important for prospective franchisees to note that Baya Bar retains the right to update the manual from time to time, and franchisees are expressly required to comply with each new or changed policy, standard, or directive. In the event of any dispute as to the contents of the manual, the terms of the master copy of the Manual maintained by Baya Bar shall control.
