What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, all advertising and promotional materials must adhere to specific standards. All advertising and promotional materials, including signs, decorations, and paper goods, must display Baya Bar's trademarks (the Marks) in the prescribed form, color, location, and manner. This ensures brand consistency across all franchise locations.
Furthermore, all advertising and promotion, regardless of the medium used, must be conducted in a dignified manner and comply with the standards and requirements outlined in Baya Bar's Manual or other written communications. This suggests that Baya Bar has detailed guidelines on what is considered acceptable and appropriate in their advertising.
Before using any advertising and promotional materials or plans that Baya Bar has not prepared or approved within the 12 months preceding their use, franchisees must obtain Baya Bar's approval. This requirement allows Baya Bar to maintain control over its brand image and marketing strategies. Any advertising and promotional materials submitted for review become the property of Baya Bar, giving them the right to use or modify these materials as they see fit. This level of control is typical in franchising, where brand consistency is crucial for maintaining customer recognition and trust.
