What This Means (2024 FDD)

The 2024 Baya Bar Franchise Disclosure Document does not explicitly state that franchisees must hire staff prior to opening their franchise. However, the FDD does state that Baya Bar will provide a written list of pre-opening requirements.

While the FDD does not specify mandatory staffing levels, it does emphasize the franchisee's responsibility for the safety and security of the premises, including personnel. This implies that franchisees will need to hire staff to meet these obligations. Additionally, franchisees are required to indemnify Baya Bar from claims related to the franchisee's employees.

To fully understand Baya Bar's expectations regarding pre-opening staffing, a prospective franchisee should ask the franchisor for details on recommended or required staff positions, training programs for new hires, and any specific pre-opening staffing requirements. This information is crucial for budgeting and operational planning.
