What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company has specific policies regarding on-site inspections during the construction or remodeling phase of a franchise location. Franchisees are required to provide Baya Bar, or its designated representative, with periodic reports on the progress of obtaining licenses and permits, as well as construction or remodeling progress, as reasonably requested by Baya Bar.
Additionally, Baya Bar or its representative has the right to conduct on-site inspections as deemed reasonably necessary to evaluate the progress of construction or remodeling. Franchisees must also notify Baya Bar at least thirty days before the scheduled completion date of the construction or remodeling. After completion, Baya Bar or its representative may, at its option, conduct a final inspection of the franchised business.
These inspections and reports allow Baya Bar to maintain quality control and ensure that the franchise location adheres to the brand's standards and specifications. Furthermore, the franchisee cannot open for business without written authorization from Baya Bar, which is contingent upon strict compliance with the franchise agreement.
