What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Baya Bar will inform franchisees of any modifications to its standards and specifications through the franchise's manual or in writing, which may include email. These standards and specifications dictate how the Baya Bar shop should be operated to maintain quality and service. Franchisees are expected to strictly adhere to these guidelines, which cover everything from preparation methods to the specific food and beverage items that must be used and sold.
Baya Bar retains the right to modify these standards as it deems necessary. This includes the ability to change the recipes, ingredients, and procedures used in the shop. Franchisees must not deviate from these standards without prior written consent from Baya Bar. This ensures uniformity across all franchise locations and protects the brand's reputation.
To ensure compliance, Baya Bar or its agents may collect samples of food and non-food items from the franchisee's inventory for testing. If a sample does not meet the current standards and specifications, or if the supplier has not been previously approved, the franchisee may be required to cover the costs of inspection and testing. This process helps Baya Bar maintain quality control and ensures that all locations meet the required standards.
