What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Baya Bar can modify its standards and specifications as it deems necessary. Baya Bar will notify franchisees of these changes either in the Manual or in writing, which may include email.
Franchisees must operate their Baya Bar shop in strict compliance with the methods, standards, and specifications prescribed in the Manual or in other written forms. This encompasses all aspects of the business, including food and beverage items, ingredients, products, materials, supplies, and paper goods. Franchisees must adhere to the recipes and procedures specified in the Manual or other written materials when preparing menu items. Deviation from these standards and specifications is not allowed without prior written consent from Baya Bar.
Baya Bar or its agents have the right to collect samples of food and non-food items from the franchisee's inventory for testing, to ensure compliance with the current standards and specifications. If the supplier of an item has not been previously approved or if the sample fails to meet the standards, Baya Bar may require the franchisee to cover the inspection fees and testing costs. This ensures that franchisees maintain the quality and uniformity expected within the Baya Bar system.
