What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee attempts a transfer in violation of the Franchise Agreement, Baya Bar may terminate the Franchise Agreement with notice to the franchisee.
This means that franchisees must adhere to the specific transfer conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement. Failure to comply with these conditions, such as transferring ownership without prior franchisor approval, can result in the termination of the franchise. The franchisee would then lose the right to operate the Baya Bar business.
This provision protects Baya Bar by ensuring that any transfer of ownership meets their standards and maintains the integrity of the brand. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the transfer provisions in the Franchise Agreement to understand the requirements and restrictions involved in transferring their franchise.
