- 11.4.2.2 The General Manager shall devote his or her full time and best efforts to the supervision and management of the Franchised Business, and may not engage in any other competitive business activity without the Franchisor's consent, which may be withheld in Franchisor's sole discretion.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a General Manager is restricted from engaging in any other competitive business activity without the franchisor's consent. Specifically, the General Manager must devote their full time and best efforts to the supervision and management of the Baya Bar franchised business.
This restriction is in place during the entire period that the individual serves as General Manager. The franchisor has the sole discretion to withhold consent for any outside competitive business activity.
For a prospective Baya Bar franchisee, this means that the person they appoint as General Manager must be fully dedicated to the Baya Bar business.
