What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Baya Bar, or its representative, can conduct on-site inspections during construction or remodeling. Specifically, during the construction or remodeling phase, the franchisee must provide Baya Bar, or its designated representative, with periodic reports on the progress of obtaining licenses and permits, as well as the construction or remodeling progress, as reasonably requested by Baya Bar.
In addition to these reports, Baya Bar or its representative may conduct on-site inspections as deemed reasonably necessary to evaluate the progress of the construction or remodeling. The franchisee is also required to notify Baya Bar at least thirty days before the scheduled completion date of the construction or remodeling.
Following completion, Baya Bar or its representative has the option to conduct a final inspection of the completed franchised business within a reasonable time frame. The franchisee cannot open the Baya Bar location for business without written authorization from Baya Bar, which is contingent upon strict compliance with the franchise agreement.
