What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Baya Bar's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor maintains sole discretion and control over the Baya Bar website. The franchisor has established a website that provides information about the Baya Bar system, its products, and services. The franchisor will include a listing on its website that includes the franchisee's franchised business location.

This means that as a franchisee, you will not have ownership or proprietary rights to the Baya Bar website. Upon expiration or termination of the franchise agreement, the franchisee will lose all rights to the listing of their location on the website.

This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors typically want to maintain a consistent brand image and control the information presented to the public. However, franchisees should ensure they understand the implications of not having control over the website, particularly in terms of online marketing and customer communication.
