What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Baya Bar Franchise Disclosure Document, Baya Bar may choose to hold an annual meeting of its franchisees. These meetings can be for various reasons, such as providing additional training, introducing new products or changes to the Baya Bar system, or for other reasons deemed necessary by the company.
Attendance at these annual meetings may be mandatory for the franchisee, their General Manager, or other shop personnel, as designated by Baya Bar. While Baya Bar does not anticipate charging a fee for the refresher training provided at these meetings, franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their trainees. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and wages.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often conduct meetings to ensure consistency and introduce updates. Franchisees should factor in the potential costs of attending these meetings when evaluating the overall investment and operational expenses of a Baya Bar franchise.
