What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is generally not refundable. Specifically, Item 22 details the agreements and payments required, stating clearly that the initial franchise fee is not refundable. This means that once a prospective franchisee signs the agreement and pays the fee, they cannot get that money back, regardless of whether they proceed with opening the franchise.

This non-refundable policy is a standard practice in the franchise industry, as the initial fee covers Bath Tune Up's costs for granting the franchise, providing initial training, and offering the start-up package. The FDD also mentions a territory fee, which is also non-refundable. This further emphasizes the financial commitment a franchisee makes upfront.

Item 7 of the FDD reinforces this point, stating that none of the fees or payments made to Bath Tune Up are refundable. This includes not only the initial franchise fee but also other payments. While payments to third parties might be refundable depending on the arrangements made, any money paid directly to Bath Tune Up is generally non-refundable. This should be a key consideration for anyone evaluating a Bath Tune Up franchise, as it highlights the importance of thorough due diligence before signing the agreement and paying the initial fees.
