What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard initial franchise fee is generally $19,950. However, an addendum to the franchise agreement notes that the initial franchise fee is $16,958. This fee is paid as a lump sum when the franchise agreement is signed and is non-refundable. Upon payment, the franchisee receives the Bath Tune Up Start-Up Package, which is detailed in Schedule 3 of the agreement.

It is important to note that the initial franchise fee may be subject to discounts. Specifically, the FDD mentions a 15% discount on the initial franchise fee for veterans, active service members, or their spouses. This discount is further described in Item 5 of the FDD.

Prospective franchisees should clarify with Bath Tune Up which initial franchise fee applies to their specific agreement, as the FDD contains conflicting information. They should also inquire about eligibility for any discounts, such as the veteran's discount, to potentially reduce the initial investment. Understanding the specific terms and conditions related to the initial franchise fee is crucial before signing the franchise agreement.
