What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bath Tune Up retains significant control over its website and its usage. Specifically, Bath Tune Up may allow third parties to link to or frame its website, including interior pages like the Franchisee Page.

This means that Bath Tune Up has the right to permit other websites to display the Bath Tune Up website within a frame, potentially integrating Bath Tune Up's content into another site's design. This could be used for marketing partnerships or to enhance the visibility of Bath Tune Up's services through other platforms.

Bath Tune Up also has the right to modify or eliminate any content on its website, place advertising, and establish referral programs. All monetary and non-monetary consideration received by Bath Tune Up from these activities belongs solely to Bath Tune Up. This reinforces that franchisees do not have a claim to revenue generated by the franchisor's website activities.

For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that Bath Tune Up actively manages its online presence and can leverage it for brand promotion and lead generation. However, franchisees should be aware that they do not have control over the website's content or any revenue it generates, and should inquire about how the franchisor ensures that such activities benefit the franchise system as a whole.
