What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all operating and other expenses associated with the vehicle used for the franchised business. The franchisee must purchase or lease a motor vehicle (or a motor vehicle and enclosed trailer) that meets Bath Tune Up's standards, as detailed in the manuals, at the franchisee's own expense.

This includes affixing Bath Tune Up's approved vehicle signage to the vehicle according to the specifications provided in the manuals, and providing a photograph of the fully wrapped vehicle to the franchisor. Any modifications to the brand's logo on the vehicle will also be at the franchisee's expense.

Furthermore, the franchisee is required to maintain comprehensive liability insurance that meets the specifications outlined in the manuals, with Bath Tune Up named as an additional insured. This insurance requirement remains in effect as long as the franchisee uses the vehicle for business under the Bath Tune Up name. If the franchise agreement is terminated, the franchisee must immediately remove the Bath Tune Up name and logo from the vehicle.
