What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bath Tune Up's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses related to maintaining and repairing their computer system. The franchisee must keep its computer system in good maintenance and repair at its own expense.

Furthermore, if Bath Tune Up determines that additions, changes, modifications, substitutions, or replacements to the franchisee's computer hardware, software, telephone, and power lines, and other related facilities will prove economically or otherwise beneficial to all franchisees, the franchisee must promptly install these at their own expense. This ensures that all computer systems are compatible and that there is full operational efficiency and optimum communication capability between the equipment and computer systems installed by the franchisee, Bath Tune Up, and other franchisees.

This requirement ensures uniformity and compatibility across the Bath Tune Up franchise system, allowing for efficient data retrieval and communication. However, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to invest in and maintain their computer systems according to Bath Tune Up's standards, which may include unexpected costs for upgrades or modifications directed by the franchisor.
